If this sounds like a good fit for you, we’d like to meet you!</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">This is an experienced VDC Specialist position where the incumbent will translate design intent contract documents or 3D design models of Plumbing, Mechanical and HVAC systems into fabrication and installation detail Building Information Models (BIM’s) utilizing BIM fabrication modelling software.  </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"><br>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work with engineers and managers to produce LOD400 BIM for mechanical and plumbing systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work with General Contractor and other subcontractors to achieve spatial coordination of all trades.</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Attend weekly coordination meetings, either onsite or virtually, to achieve spatial coordination of all trades</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Generate RFI’s to be submitted to the design team when required</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Create detailed shop drawings for the purposes of fabrication and installation of associated trades</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Creation and annotation of shop drawings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Creation and annotation of hanger drawings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Creation and annotation of sleeve drawings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Creation and export of hanger and sleeve coordinates to be utilized by the robotic total station layout team for field layout</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Communicate with field personnel, when required, to ensure that fabrication and installation intent is clearly communicated on shop and spool drawings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Mentor and train Junior VDC Specialists</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">On the job training on the use of modelling and collaboration software</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
