They partner with&#xa0;sales,&#xa0;engineering,&#xa0;and&#xa0;marketing to ensure product initiatives are well-defined, deliver measurable customer impact, and support&#xa0;Nearmap’s&#xa0;growth&#xa0;objectives.&#xa0;</p><p>This role emphasizes hands-on execution - gathering insights, writing clear requirements, managing delivery priorities, and tracking performance,&#xa0;while building domain&#xa0;expertise&#xa0;in geospatial technology and location intelligence.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong><em>Play the essential role of&#xa0;Product Owner for&#xa0;the delivery stream:&#xa0;</em></strong></p><ul><li>Assist&#xa0;senior product managers in defining product requirements and priorities for Government&#xa0;solutions.&#xa0;</li><li>Translate customer and business needs into clear, actionable user&#xa0;requirements&#xa0;and acceptance criteria for&#xa0;technical delivery teams.&#xa0;</li><li>Monitor&#xa0;existing product metrics and provide insights to the greater product org.&#xa0;</li><li>Analyze&#xa0;calls and other signals to provide insight to the greater org.&#xa0;</li><li>Participate in backlog grooming,&#xa0;priority refinement, and&#xa0;requirements alignment with the technical delivery team.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><em><strong>Be the&#xa0;domain expert, providing support and&#xa0;educating&#xa0;stakeholders:</strong></em></p><ul><li>Develop and&#xa0;maintain&#xa0;deep domain&#xa0;expertise&#xa0;across diverse&#xa0;use cases&#xa0;in government, with comprehensive knowledge of customer workflows, use cases, and industry-specific challenges.&#xa0;</li><li>Bring authoritative understanding of critical application areas such as property assessment and management, land development, public safety, portfolio/asset management,&#xa0;and disaster response&#xa0;while rapidly building&#xa0;expertise&#xa0;in emerging&#xa0;new&#xa0;needs.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><em><strong>Build and&#xa0;maintain&#xa0;highly effective relationships:&#xa0;&#xa0;</strong></em></p><ul><li>Regularly converse with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to gather customer pain points and opportunities, and impediments to selling/upselling.&#xa0;</li><li>Regularly converse with customers to understand how&#xa0;Nearmap&#xa0;products are used and perceived, and opportunities to solve addition customer problems and upsell.&#xa0;</li><li>Communicate findings back to&#xa0;Nearmap&#xa0;stakeholders in a form that drives action and improvement.&#xa0;</li><li>Regularly converse with ecosystem partners, including technology platform providers, channel partners, analysts, media to boost&#xa0;Nearmap’s&#xa0;profile and presence.&#xa0;</li><li>Listen to sales and customer success calls on recording tools to gain understanding of customer concerns and needs.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><em><strong>Compliance with&#xa0;Nearmap&#xa0;values,&#xa0;policies&#xa0;and standards, and ensure&#xa0;compliance with all local statutory requirements:&#xa0;</strong></em></p><ul><li>Complies with&#xa0;responsibilities of working for a public company.&#xa0;</li><li>Complies with&#xa0;all local legislative requirements.&#xa0;</li><li>Adheres to company guidelines and the corporate Code of Conduct.&#xa0;</li><li>Where&#xa0;appropriate keeps&#xa0;up to date with legislative requirements.&#xa0;</li><li>Acts in an ethical way when dealing with company assets and other people.&#xa0;</li></ul>",
