    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><u>(THIS IS A CONTINGENT POSITION)</u></strong></p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Under the general supervision of the Crisis Care Center &ndash; Site Director, the Crisis Care Shift Supervisor is responsible for providing general supervision and monitoring for the Crisis Care Center. &nbsp; This position will also provide clinical support for clients of the Crisis Care Center.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Serves as the onsite immediate supervisor for team members through role modeling, coaching and assisting &nbsp;the unit.</li><li>Oversees daily&nbsp;operations.</li><li>Creates a healthy partnership with stakeholders. &nbsp;</li><li>Monitors and oversees workflows at the DWIHN Crisis Care Center.</li><li>Monitors and oversees guest visits at the DWIHN Crisis Care Center.</li><li>Provides support and development to staff by modeling position functions for the team.</li><li>Ensures that services and linkage are provided for ongoing recovery and treatment services.</li><li>Serves as the mental health professional for individuals until they are enrolled in services at other community agencies.</li><li>Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity, and submits authorizations for service.</li><li>Conducts thorough clinical assessments and treatment plans for services.&nbsp;</li><li>Assesses the individual&rsquo;s needs and provides appropriate support and referrals.</li><li>Provides short-and long-term recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling and education on a group or individual basis.&nbsp;</li><li>Provides family education and family counseling.</li><li>Completes clinical documentation as required.</li><li>Facilitates recovery education courses.</li><li>Conducts thorough clinical assessments and treatment plans for services.&nbsp;</li><li>Provides crisis management services and responds to urgent/emergent participant needs.&nbsp;</li><li>Implements the transition/discharge care plan in partnership with each participant.&nbsp;</li><li>Works in concert with the Site Director and Unit Administrator to ensure that quality, compliance, and deliverables are met.</li><li>Works with the Site Director and Unit Administrator regarding personnel matters.</li><li>Performs related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA&rsquo;S)</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Knowledge of DWIHN policies, procedures and practices.</li><li>Knowledge of the DWIHN provider network and community resources.</li><li>Knowledge of the Michigan Mental Health Code.</li><li>Knowledge of MDHHS policies, rules, regulations and procedures.</li><li>Knowledge of Federal policies, rules, regulations and procedures as it relates to DWIHN.</li><li>Knowledge of behavioral health and mental health principles and practices.</li><li>Knowledge of the Michigan Medicaid Provider Manual.</li><li>Knowledge of MHWIN.</li><li>Knowledge of the LOCUS model.</li><li>Knowledge of the clinical care process (screening, assessment, treatment planning, case management and continuing care).</li><li>Knowledge of and ability to use screening and assessment tools for behavioral health services.</li><li>Knowledge of Crisis Operations principles and practices.</li><li>Knowledge of Crisis Center operations and management.</li><li>Knowledge of Crisis Center programs.</li><li>Knowledge of the Adult continuum of care for all disability designations (I/DD, SMI, Co-Occurring Disorder).</li><li>Knowledge of adult services: &nbsp;Outpatient, Co-Occurring services, CM, ACT, Supported Employment, and Med Drop.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of ICD 9, CPT Codes,&nbsp;DSM-IV Statistical Manual&nbsp;or most current diagnostic edition.</li><li>Knowledge of medical and behavioral health practices and terminology.</li><li>Knowledge of compliance standards.</li><li>Knowledge of Medical Necessity Criteria for Behavioral Health Services.</li><li>Knowledge of the American Society of Addiction Medicine Patient Placement Criteria (ASAM).</li><li>Knowledge of the Federal Confidentiality Regulations, 42 CFR, Part 2.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of documents / regulations that govern the provision of mental health services, e.g., Medicaid Manual Mental Health and Substance Abuse Chapter III, State Plan for Medicaid, Michigan Department of Health and Human accepted),&nbsp;Public Health, Public Administration,&nbsp;Healthcare Administration, Health Management, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work&nbsp;or a related field.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Five (5) years of full-time paid professional experience working in a human service, social service, mental health or behavioral health setting.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>AND</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Two (2) years of full-time paid professional experience&nbsp;in crisis services.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>AND</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Two (2) years of full-time paid professional experience as an executive, administrator, manager or supervisor in a human service, social service, mental health or behavioral health setting.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong><u>REQUIRED LICENSE(S).</u></strong></p><p>A Valid State of Michigan clinical licensure: &nbsp;RN, <a href=\"https://workforcenow.adp.com/theme/admin.html\" target=\"_self\">LMSW</a>, LMHC, LPC, LLP or PhD.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>(A limited license will be
