font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Serve as the Quality Oversight Engineer for the project and construction management of major rail transit projects.  Specific responsibilities include the following:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Analyze, evaluate, and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve a solution to complex QA/QC problems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Develop and implement a Quality Management System and Quality Assurance Plan consistent with the client’s Quality Management Plan including the development of a statistical sampling program, audit and surveillance schedules and checklists, document comment tracking, and disposition.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Coordinate Team Training to facilitate understanding of the standard project procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Review and comment on the Contractor’s Quality Manual.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Support the Quality, Verification, Validation, and Self-Certification program in the field.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Coordinate safety certification construction documentation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Review submittals and requests for information (RFIs).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Review updated and final as-builts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Develop, issue, process, and manage non-conformance reports.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Enforce the requirements of the Project Contract.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Coordinate the administrative flow of project documents through Project Contract Management review and processing.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Provide input to Quality Monthly Reports.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Provide direction to the team and mentor them.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 15px\">Bachelor’s degree in engineering</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">P.E. in the State of California preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;
