Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing) Lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end financial oversight across multiple brands, departments, and cost centers Partner with business leaders to translate financial insights into actionable decisions, providing both guidance and constructive challenge Evaluate and vet budget and investment proposals, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and clear return on investment Deliver variance analysis and forward-looking insights on cost drivers, headcount, and investment trade-offs Collaborate closely with Accounting to ensure financial accuracy, validate accruals, and align planning with reported results Drive automation and standardization of financial reporting to reduce cycle times and increase analytical capacity Redesign and streamline FP&A processes to eliminate low-value work and improve team efficiency Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting expectations for rigor, accountability, and continuous improvement Qualifications (What We’re Looking For) 10+ years of experience in FP&A, operational finance, or a hybrid FP&A/accounting role Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead business discussions with shared accountability Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights Demonstrated success leading finance transformation initiatives, including process redesign, automation, or reporting standardization Experience operating in matrixed environments and driving cross-functional collaboration Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams Excellent communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to clearly convey complex financial concepts Media, publishing, or digital content experience preferred Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems preferred Ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail and operational rigor Based in New York City with a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week in-office Benefits (What We Offer) Work with the Best: Collaborate with top-tier professionals across media, advertising, tech, fashion, lifestyle, and publishing, shaping the future of these dynamic industries.
