          "text": "<p>NineStar Connect is seeking a <strong>Water &amp; Wastewater Apprentice Operator</strong> to join our Wet Utilities Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, and learning a skilled trade that protects public health and the environment.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>As a Water &amp; Wastewater Apprentice Operator, you will work alongside certified operators to learn the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment facilities, distribution systems, and collection systems. Through on-the-job training and formal coursework, you'll build the knowledge and experience necessary to earn Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) certifications and advance your career in the utility industry.</p><p>What You'll Do</p><ul><li>Assist certified operators with daily operations and maintenance activities</li><li>Learn water and wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements</li><li>Perform hands-on tasks including cleaning, lifting, digging, and basic maintenance work</li><li>Observe and assist with sampling, testing, chemical handling, and process monitoring</li><li>Attend operator school and required training programs to prepare for IDEM certification</li><li>Maintain facilities, buildings, and grounds</li><li>Follow all safety procedures and company policies</li><li>Support additional operational and maintenance activities as assigned</li></ul>",
