    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>RoviSys’ Power & Energy division is seeking a Central Utility Controls Engineer to join our team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Central Utility Controls Engineer, you will support the definition of, development, testing and implementation of Boiler, Chiller, Water Polishing and BOP (Balance of Plant) solutions utilizing the latest automation technologies from industry leading OEMs. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Create and develop Functional Specifications, including SOO (Sequence of Operations) and BOMs (Bill of Materials).</li>\n <li>Support Electrical Designers to develop project drawing packages.</li>\n <li>Develop, test and deploy PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller), DCSs (Distributed Control System) and HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) for Central Utility Applications.</li>\n <li>Develop Test Plans for both FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) and support the execution of both tests. </li>\n <li>Support loop checks, start-up and commissioning activities as required to successfully deploy Central Utility solutions.</li>\n <li>Perform formal and informal customer training as required.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot existing systems that may be malfunctioning. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution</li>\n <li>3-6 years of relevant controls experience</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of the following automation functions or similar. (Boiler Combustion Controls, 3-Element Control, Burner Management Systems, Chiller controls and staging, Water Polishing, Combined Heat & Power, District Heating or Cooling, etc.)</li>\n <li>Working experience with any of the following technology providers or equivalent. (Rockwell Automation, AVEVA, Ignition, Emerson DeltaV, etc.)</li>\n <li>Working experience with any of the communication protocols common in industry (Modbus, EthernetIP, DNP3, OPC, BACnet, Profinet, etc.)</li>\n <li>Travel expectations are 25% for customer meetings, site visits and field duties.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>PE License</li>\n <li>Ability to lead others in accomplishing portions of project scope and provide project leadership.</li>\n <li>Additional years of experience are welcome.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation & Benefits Highlights</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Competitive Base Salary:</strong> $90,000–$130,000, depending on experience </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Performance Bonuses:</strong> Bonus structure designed to reward results </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Travel Perks:</strong> Travel incentives + per-diem packages for field assignments </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Full Benefits Package:</strong> Medical, dental, and vision coverage </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Retirement Ready:</strong> 401(k) with company match </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Time Off:</strong> Generous PTO which includes vacation, holidays, and unlimited personal time </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Grow With Us:</strong><strong> </strong>Ongoing training, certifications, and professional development suppor</p></li>\n</ul>",
