It is more than a job; it is an opportunity to embrace the beauty of Mammoth Lakes, California. </p><p>Benefits and perks of your adventure here:</p><ul><li>Ski passes for dependents <span>(spouse/child(ren)/domestic partners) includes free skiing at other Alterra Resorts</span></li><li>Free skiing at all Alterra Resorts</li><li>Ski/snowboarding lessons discounts</li><li>Equipment Rental discount</li><li>Friends and Family vouchers</li><li>Retail &amp; Food discount</li><li>401k with company match</li></ul><p></p><p><i><span>*Offers of employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check</span></i></p><p><b><span>A little about this position:</span></b></p><ul><li>Unique Motocross experience, up close and personal with riders from around the country.</li><li>Spend your days in the outdoors watching and helping the motocross riders.</li><li>Safety is our number one priority, this means for you and the riders.</li><li>Flaggers are stationed around the track to act as an extra set of eyes for oncoming riders.</li><li>If a rider is stopped on the track between you and the next flagging station it’s your responsibility as a flagger to wave the yellow flag to alert other riders to slow down and alert Patrol to assess the situation.</li><li>Staying alert and aware of your surrounding is key; our flagging stations are set up in safe locations on the side of the track.</li><li>Unless an unsafe situation arises, flaggers should remain at their stations anytime a rider is on the track.</li><li>These bikes range from 50cc to 450s. If at any time a flagger is uncomfortable it’s important to contact the lead for that day so we can help the situation.</li><li>These can be long days in the elements, protect yourself by wearing sunscreen, staying hydrated and wearing the appropriate clothing.</li><li>Lunch, snacks and water are provided throughout the event.</li><li>The track is only accessible by bus.
