Work directly with NRTLs and certification bodies to facilitate approvals and resolve technical issues.
Support engineering teams by ensuring designs meet code and standard requirements from early development stages.
Review and validate test procedures and results, including electrical, thermal, environmental, and safety testing.
Support project teams during AHJ reviews, permitting, and commissioning, addressing compliance-related questions.
Monitor and interpret regulatory changes and emerging standards, ensuring proactive alignment of products.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in compliance, certification, or regulatory engineering for BESS, power electronics, or industrial electrical systems.

Experience working with NRTLs (e.g., UL, CSA, Intertek) and managing certification programs.
Ability to interpret and apply codes, standards, and regulatory language into practical engineering requirements.
Strong communication skills across engineering, regulatory authorities, and external certification bodies.
