Recognizes and responds to signs/symptoms of abuse or neglect. </li><li>Performs direct nursing care, treatments and procedures in accordance with established policies and standards of the hospital as outlined in the plan of care. Delivers care in a kind, courteous and honest manner promoting the patient's sense of security. Promotes positive interactions by smiling, making eye contact, laughing and interjecting humor into work appropriate to the patient's culture and circumstances. Performs other duties as assigned </li><li>Identifies and communicates patient problems/needs and performed nursing interventions to the registered nurse assigned in a timely manner.
