    "description": "<h2>More information about this job</h2>\n<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Tool Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining a continuous inventory of all tools. Must be able to track tools on a day-to-day basis as they are issued and monitor shortages or lost tools.  Will need to complete assured grounding training. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment. Will be required to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>*The following are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for this position.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain maintenance log, as well as a log or system for tracking the movement and location of tools</li>\n <li>Perform routine maintenance on small engines such as generators, sand tamps, water pumps, etc…</li>\n <li>Complete repairs, tag, or replace broken tools</li>\n <li>Inspect extension cords and power cords for broken wires, cracked insulation, or other damages</li>\n <li>Replace broken handles of hammers, shovels and similar tools</li>\n <li>Assist other craft workers as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to push/pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs., but may occasionally push/pull, lift, or carry up to 100 lbs.</li>\n <li>Subject to repetitive use of hands/arms, and legs</li>\n <li>Hand/eye coordination</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate (hear, comprehend, and speak) to safely perform work</li>\n <li>Will need to be able to perform sedentary to heavy work</li>\n <li>May operate hand and power tools (electric, gas, and pneumatic) of all types</li>\n <li>Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds</li>\n <li>Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis</li>\n <li>Position may require prolonged bending/twisting, walking, crawling, kneeling,  reaching overhead, squatting, pushing /pulling, or standing and lifting</li>\n <li>Must be able to walk on uneven surfaces, muddy conditions, loose rock, loose/soft sand, etc.</li>\n <li>May be required to work in confined spaces</li>\n <li>Will be exposed to adverse weather conditions (Heat, Cold, Rain, Etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Mental</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have the ability to direct others and also communicate effectively with management/ supervision</li>\n <li>Ability to speak clearly, read, write, and comprehend </li>\n <li>Work at various tempos, and concentrate amid distractions</li>\n <li>Decision making skills necessary</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented; must be able to remember, examine, and observe details</li>\n</ul>",
