    "description": "<p>**Recruiters please do NOT contact Advent Services**<br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Title:</span> Aircraft / Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Structural Maintenance Technician</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Panama City, FL</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Clearance Requirements:</span> Secret<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Advent Services seeks a skilled Aircraft / Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) (or similar weapon system) Structural Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in Panama City, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining Landing Craft Air Cushion weapon system structures, surfaces, and related systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, safety, and readiness of our aircraft platforms supporting mission-critical operations.<br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or GED.</li>\n<li>4 or more years in aircraft, LCAC or similar weapon system sheet metal structural assembly or a combination of aircraft structural assembly and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) experience.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery related to sheet metal work and knowledge of aircraft fasteners and applications.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of structural maintenance / metal fabrication techniques, materials, and safety standards.</li>\n<li>Experience in aircraft, LCAC or other similar weapon systems metals, composites, and repair procedures.</li>\n<li>Proficient in reading and interpreting aircraft technical data and schematics.</li>\n<li>Ability to use precision measuring tools and perform layout and fabrication work.</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in a DoW aircraft maintenance, LCAC or equivalent aerospace fabrication environment.</li>\n<li>Experience with rotary-wing, fixed-wing, or hovercraft military aircraft platforms.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with military maintenance documentation systems.</li>\n<li>Formal technical training in aircraft structural repair (e.g., USAF 2A7X3 or equivalent).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Clearance Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Position requires a Secret Security Clearance. Ability to obtain an interim Secret Security Clearance is required to begin employment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.</li>\n<li>Must be able to ascend/descend ladders and work at elevated heights.</li>\n<li>Must be able to move, lift, and position heavy aircraft components and tools (up to 50 lbs).</li>\n<li>Frequently works in enclosed hangars or outdoor flight line environments with exposure to weapon system noise and environmental elements.</li>\n<li>Must be able to work in various positions and locations including in and around a Navy LCAC.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspect weapon system structures for damage, corrosion, fatigue, and other issues.</li>\n<li>Conduct repairs and modifications to weapon system surfaces and structural components.</li>\n<li>Remove and install weapon system components including panels, rivets, fasteners, skins, and frameworks.</li>\n<li>Perform fabrication, repair, and modification of aircraft or similar weapon systems and ground support equipment components using advanced metalworking techniques.</li>\n<li>Perform set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other precision machine tools.</li>\n<li>Perform heat treatment processes including annealing, tempering, and case hardening.</li>\n<li>Utilize blueprints, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals to execute repair tasks.</li>\n<li>Operate tools such as shears, brakes, rivet guns, and hand tools in the fabrication and assembly of weapon system parts.</li>\n<li>Apply corrosion control methods, sealants, and protective coatings.</li>\n<li>Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure compliance with technical and safety standards.</li>\n<li>Work in collaboration with engineers, maintenance personnel, and quality assurance teams.</li>\n<li>Enforcing safety procedures and policies to maintain a safe work environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
