    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.37.25/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;</div><p id=\"isPasted\">This is NOT your &ldquo;Father&#39;s&rdquo; Railway Company! &nbsp;Come join an industry leader using new technology for commuter rail services.</p><p>Denver Transit Operators, (DTO) is a privately held company that has a 29-year contract with RTD to operate and maintain the new commuter rail system within the Greater Denver Metro area. &nbsp;We currently have opportunities to hire <strong>Train Operators</strong> and are seeking committed individuals who can successfully complete our 2-month training program to earn the Federal licensure to operate our commuter trains.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Pay:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Our Train Operators can expect to earn an hourly wage between <u>$28.27 - $35.85</u> depending on experience, education &amp; training.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What Will You Do?</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>In this position you will be responsible for operating commuter trains and yard services in accordance with Federal regulations and company rules &amp; instructions. &nbsp;</li><li>Perform pre-trip&nbsp;inspections and tests to meet pre-departure standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensuring trains are on time to avoid passenger delays.</li><li>Monitoring track conditions, signals, displays, radio and intercom communications. &nbsp;Making train announcements regarding station arrivals or delays, including responding to any emergencies, assisting with the evacuation of passengers during emergencies.</li><li>Coordinate closely with train staff and security personnel to ensure the safety of all train users.</li><li>Complete reports and documentation as required, as well as all other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>This is a safety sensitive position subject to the rules &amp; regulations of the Federal Railroad Administration and their Drug &amp; Alcohol policy.</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What Will You learn?</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Our Train Operators play an important part in keeping our locomotives on the move.
