This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to analyze user needs, design robust solutions, and implement secure, scalable applications in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements. The Software Developer participates throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring compliance with government security standards and agency-specific protocols.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position aligns with Cayuse’s core values of Innovation, Excellence, Collaboration, Adaptability, and Integrity by fostering technical solutions that meet customer needs, promoting teamwork, and prioritizing quality in deliverables.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform software development duties consistent with the Software Developer labor category.</li>\n <li>Provide senior software development expertise consistent with the SME experience requirement (10+ years).</li>\n <li>Support functions aligned to DCWF work roles (e.g., DevSec Ops Specialist; Software Developer; Software/Cloud Architect; Software Test and Evaluation Specialist) as applicable.</li>\n <li>Maintain and apply required certifications within the scope of assigned duties.</li>\n <li>Document and maintain software configurations, releases, and supporting technical documentation as applicable.</li>\n <li>Understand computer and software programming concepts and methodologies equivalent to: AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate, C and C++ Certifications, or other similar certifications.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.</li>\n <li>Design algorithms, scripts, and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems.</li>\n <li>You will prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.</li>\n <li>Produce code based on customer and platform requirements.</li>\n <li>Test and deploy programs and applications.</li>\n <li>Observe user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products multiple networks.</li>\n <li>Develop information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.</li>\n <li>Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.</li>\n <li>Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies, procedures, and programming.</li>\n <li>Assist with management of software licenses by maintaining a master list of all software license requirements, cost, number of license, and expiration dates.</li>\n <li>Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming and scripting applications for integration into training systems and ranges.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications – Here’s What You Need</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The qualifications and skills listed below are intended to provide a general overview of the requirements for this position. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt to evolving responsibilities as outlined by the client.</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Software Developer Senior:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Bachelor’s degree or approved equivalent experience.</li>\n   <li>IAT/M Level III and Fluency with various software languages as required by the customer.</li>\n   <li>6 years. This skill level typically performs all functional duties independently and may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.</li>\n   <li>Active Secret Security Clearance is required.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Software Developer SME:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Master’s degree (Science).</li>\n   <li>AWS Certified, Developer, MS Azure, CSSLP, etc.</li>\n   <li>10 + years.
