    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>PacMar Technologies LLC,&nbsp;</strong>a privately-owned defense contractor, is seeking a <strong>Director of Unmanned Systems.&nbsp;</strong>The incumbent will join a group of talented Engineers, Scientists, and Innovators with tremendous top-side potential devoted to solving novel technological problems with national defense implications in the fields of Maritime Platform Design and Prototyping, Power and Energy, Autonomy and Data Science, and Naval Architecture among others. This position will be located in our Hawaii office.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">If you think this opportunity is aligned with your career interests, do not hesitate to apply!</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Job Summary:</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The ideal candidate will be experienced in specifying, installing, programming, and testing systems for unmanned maritime platforms; the incumbent will oversee the day-to-day activities of the company&rsquo;s Unmanned Systems portfolio to ensure that the portfolio is performing optimally to meet customer and growth expectations. The Director of Unmanned Systems will collaborate with other Technical Leads across the company to provide unmanned system expertise for projects outside of the portfolio.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works with Program Managers to execute project plans and delivery commitments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works with Business Strategy team to identify and bring in new work related to the Unmanned Systems portfolio.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensures technical product quality for work being performed within the Unmanned Systems portfolio.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serves as mentor, subject matter expert, and/or Principal Investigator on unmanned system programs helping to develop further expertise throughout the company, assisting in the execution of duties upon request.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborates and works closely with senior engineering leadership and executive leadership in defining and executing long-term technology roadmaps.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Implements innovative technologies within the Company, providing support and leadership to other company technology portfolio leads and facilitating continuous evolution in the frontend and backend of development teams.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Executes Company procedures, policies, and associated tools to develop processes that are more efficient and ensure conformity with the Company&rsquo;s policies and overall objectives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers and leads change management, as necessary.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Improves customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedure changes.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Required Education/Experience/Skills:</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher in Engineering from an accredited college or university.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Extensive and diversified background with at least 8 years of related experience.</li><li>Experience in managing budgets and schedules with ability to convey information to varied levels of staff.</li><li>Demonstrated competency in strategic planning and capturing follow-on work.</li><li>Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.</li><li>Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
