Our team knows our associates are our best asset, and we treat our associates as we do our members: with kindness, humility and respect. Spanish Peaks is a private community situated on 3,500 acres nestled at 7,700 feet in stunning Big Sky, Montana. We are about 50 miles away from Bozeman, Belgrade, and West Yellowstone, Montana.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></span><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\">This <strong><em>Steward</em></strong> position will clean, transport and store all china, glassware, silver, silverware, pots and pans used in the food and beverage operations. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company&#39;s goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></span><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong><em><u>RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</u></em></strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Maintaining cleanliness of all dish machines; assisting with delivering all hot/cold food for Banquet functions.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Setting up Banquet breakdown stations.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Cleaning, sanitizing and properly storing all china, glassware, silver, silverware, pots and pans in the club; ensuring that cleanliness, sanitation and recycling is of top priority.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Ensuring restaurant and banquet kitchens are consistently stocked with the proper amounts of all equipment.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Responsible for properly sanitizing and cleaning all kitchen floors, recycling bins and oil bins; maintaining the cleanliness of the recycle/trash room at all times.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Assisting with removing used linen and restocking linen.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></span><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong><em><u>QUALIFICATIONS:</u></em></strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Previous stewarding experience preferred.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Minimum of two years&rsquo; experience in a luxury hotel and resort preferred.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Ability to speak, read, write and understand English required.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Minimum of one years&rsquo; experience in customer service position required.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></span><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong><em><u>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</u></em></strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\">Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems. Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat, stretch and fulfill cleaning tasks occasionally. Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment.&nbsp;Temperature generally is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems; however, must be able to work in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10&deg;F) and kitchens (+110&deg;F). Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 lbs. occasionally.
