Comprehensive Pain Consultants , a PartnerCare affiliated company, is seeking a Full time Medical Assistant , to join our growing and established practice in West Asheville, NC.
Our practice focuses on taking care of the patient with a comprehensive plan, delivering high customer service, keeping patients safe and well-informed and reducing patients' pain as much as possible.

The Medical Assistant, under general supervision, provides appropriate care to patients as well as follows PartnerCare's service standards. You will be a part of the Clinical Care Team and will engage with our patients to develop lifelong well-being and health.
The right person for this role will delight in providing a great experience to the patient and demonstrate compassion to those experiencing chronic and/or acute pain.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Prepare exam rooms, equipment and supplies needed prior / during patient examinations.
Prepare patients for consultation, taking/documenting vital signs.
Schedule appointments for patients.
Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, vendors, physicians, coworkers, and regulatory agencies.
Work directly with Physician and/or Office Manager on all aspects of practice operations and workflow.
Ability to manage a high volume of patients while multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment.
We prefer at least two years of experience but are willing to train newer teammates with the right focus on patient care, service, and teamwork.
This position requires up to 25% travel to other clinic locations, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Eclinicalworks (preferred)
C-Arm Experience
Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistants/ Aides course

About the Practice:
Comprehensive Pain Consultants of the Carolinas (CPC) was founded in 2009, and until 2017, was only providing outpatient contracted services in hospitals. In 2017, CPC opened its first freestanding clinic in Marion, NC. Today, CPC is the largest interventional pain management group in Western North Carolina, with four freestanding clinics featuring procedure rooms and six freestanding feeder clinics staffed by a midlevel provider. Across its freestanding clinic and hospital footprint, CPC’s primary patient services include diagnosis and treatment of chronic conditions, including neck and back pain, headaches and migraines, fibromyalgia, cancer pain, diabetic and joint pain, arthritis, neuropathic pain, sciatica, and complex regional pain syndrome.
