This position ensures efficient and cost-effective supply chain practices that support the healthcare system's mission of providing exceptional patient care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>The AVP of Supply Chain will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop policies and cost containment strategies to standardize and streamline supply chain operations, creating value for our patients, providers and HRH</li>\n <li>Implements continuous supply chain improvement efforts across the system</li>\n <li>Successfully, integrates supply chain services in alignment with enterprise strategy, mission, vision and values</li>\n <li>Assist in developing measurable system and departmental goals, objectives, performance standards, in alignment with enterprise priorities.</li>\n <li>Develop and foster strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders</li>\n <li>Meet with end-users regularly to troubleshoot issues, provide ongoing operational support and to determine future needs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities Procurement</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.</li>\n <li>Negotiate contracts with suppliers, strategic partners and service providers to secure favorable terms, and value with industry-best pricing.</li>\n <li>Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors, suppliers and strategic partners including quarterly business reviews with key partners.</li>\n <li>Monitor and assess supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards and vendor registration policy.</li>\n <li>Work closely with all key stakeholders to ensure availability of product for all key stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Strategic Sourcing</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to identify and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.</li>\n <li>Manages relationship with Group Purchasing Organization (GPO)</li>\n <li>Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and alternative sourcing options.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with overarching organizational goals and objectives.</li>\n <li>Utilizes tools and technologies (benchmarking, GPO tools, etc.) to ensure contracts offer maximum value for the organization; renegotiate and drive change as necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Value Analysis</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Establish value analysis strategy, team, policy and related processes</li>\n <li>Lead value analysis initiatives to evaluate, standardize and optimize the cost-effectiveness of products and services used within the healthcare system.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to assess the value and impact of supply chain decisions on patient care and outcomes.</li>\n <li>Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance supply chain performance and value delivery.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Logistics</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee the planning and coordination of logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of supplies, laundry and equipment.</li>\n <li>Manage courier service, transportation and distribution networks to optimize supply chain efficiency.</li>\n <li>Implement best practices for inventory management, including demand forecasting, stock replenishment, and inventory controls.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Central Warehouse Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the operations of the central warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory, efficient storage, handling, and distribution of inventory in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Implement warehouse management systems and processes to enhance distribution, productivity and inventory accuracy.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory standards within the warehouse.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Laundry Services</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee the management of laundry services for the system, ensuring efficient processing and delivery of linens.</li>\n <li>Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.</li>\n <li>Monitor and optimize laundry operations to achieve cost savings and optimal operational efficiencies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What We're Looking For</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).</li>\n <li>Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the healthcare industry.</li>\n <li>Proven track record of leadership and successful management of supply chain functions.</li>\n <li>Strong negotiations, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across large health systems with diverse stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in supply chain management software and technologies.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task</li>\n <li>Professional Memberships preferred (AHRMM, HFMA, ACHE, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications: When determining the compensation, several factors may be considered including, years of relevant experience, credentials, union contracts, education, and internal equity.</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance</li>\n <li>401K, Retirement savings plan </li>\n <li>Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement</li>\n <li>Opportunities for professional growth, development, and continuing education</li>\n <li>Employee wellness programs and resources</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Influenza Vaccinations are a requirement for employment.
