    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>As a Lease Operator you will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and maintaining oil and gas production and injection wells on a rotational schedule. You will ensure peak efficiency and reliability of production equipment, support Health, Environment, and Safety processes. The role requires extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. A successful candidate must have a deep understanding of oil and gas and be capable of troubleshooting various production systems. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected.  </li>\n <li>Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection, and water disposal.  </li>\n <li>Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection and metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others).  </li>\n <li>Job is to be performed by employing safe work practices while utilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties.  </li>\n <li>Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.  </li>\n <li>Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems.  </li>\n <li>Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatory agencies.  </li>\n <li>General housekeeping and field maintenance. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>At least three years operations experience in oil and gas or related petrochemical industries. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime based on work activity. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>The position will require a pick-up truck to perform duties. The provider will need to provide a truck for the individual. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p> Position will be required to take callouts on a rotating schedule. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>5+ years operations experience in oil and gas or related petrochemical industries, including experience with regulations and the maintenance and testing requirements associated with related safety devices. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>In depth understanding of upstream facilities including, but not limited to: separation, pumping, gathering, tankage, lact sales, metering, and compression. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Broad knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and maintain major oil and gas production facility process systems including: mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and production equipment. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Capable of simultaneously performing multiple tasks with limited supervision. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse team of coworkers, contractors, and internal and external customers. </p></li>\n</ul>",
