    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing direct mental health services and working with elementary, middle, and high school children. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position will work in the Pontiac William Holliday and Whiteside schools and be based out of our Belleville, IL facility.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Monday-Friday, 8 hour, daytime shifts based around the schools operating hours. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $44,400 - $50,575 annual salary.</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This role is Student Loan Repayment Eligible.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>STATE LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM (SLRP)- </strong>The SLRP offers up to $50,000 in loan repayment for primary care providers working in HPSAs in Illinois.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>We also provide clinical supervision for those wanting licensure.</strong> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Provide consumer-driven services as identified in individualized <strong>treatment, recovery, and safety plans</strong>, ensuring services support students’ emotional, behavioral, and social development.</p></li>\n <li><p>Utilize <strong>evidence-based practices</strong>, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and developmentally appropriate interventions based on students’ developmental stages.</p></li>\n <li><p>Deliver therapeutic and supportive services within the <strong>school environment</strong>, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and school staff to support student success.</p></li>\n <li><p>Refer and link students and families to <strong>additional services and community resources</strong> to address mental health, social, and family needs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support students in developing <strong>coping skills, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and resilience</strong>.</p></li>\n <li><p>Participate in <strong>multidisciplinary team meetings</strong>, including school staff and other service providers, to coordinate care and ensure appropriate supports for students.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency, school, and regulatory requirements.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assume leadership roles by supporting collaboration between the school and behavioral health providers and promoting best practices in student mental health.</p></li>\n <li><p>Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field with at least 1,000 hours of supervised mental health experience. </li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable. </li>\n <li>Basic computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and an electronic medical record (EMR).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Are you intrigued by this job but don’t meet every single requirement?</em> Research shows that women and people of color are less likely to apply for jobs when that’s the case.
