We currently host hundreds of thousands of virtual machines and petabytes of data for our customers globally.</p>\n<p><strong>Partner with the best</strong></p>\n<p>As a Senior SDET in Akamai's Cloud Platform team, you'll ensure system quality, build automation frameworks for microservice deployments,, driving impactful cloud projects with technical excellence.</p>\n<p>As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Improving internal processes and systems on a consistent basis</li>\n <li>Thinking about and building highly available, scalable, secure, performant and distributed systems</li>\n <li>Demonstrating excellence in coding and test automation in Python and Golang</li>\n <li>Having experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.</li>\n <li>Having experience with Linux, networking, microservice, and Kubernetes fundamentals</li>\n <li>Measuring system performance and preventing regressions; during fair-weather operation, high system occupancy and failure states</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Do what you love</strong></p>\n<p>To be successful in this role you will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Have a Bachelor's in CS/IT and related field and relevant experience as an SDET</li>\n <li>Have a good understanding of systems programming (GNU/Linux) and networking concepts</li>\n <li>Have good programming skills in Python or Go and C or C++ or a similar language</li>\n <li>Have experience with functional and non-functional testing of containers, infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes, and related technologies</li>\n <li>Have experience with agile work environments</li>\n <li>Be able to write organized, efficient, and well-documented code.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Build your career at Akamai</strong></p>\n<p>Our ability to shape digital life today relies on developing exceptional people like you.
