We encourage qualified individuals to submit their applications within this timeframe.</em></strong></p>\n<h2>Job Overview</h2>\n<p>Maintains cleanliness and order in lobby and common guest areas. Provides prompt and courteous service to guests.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift; remove newspapers and service trays, empty trash receptacles</li>\n <li>Remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning.</li>\n <li>Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations to include but not limited to: hallways, elevators, service areas, stairwells, etc.</li>\n <li>Remove soiled linen, terry and trash from the service areas and take to the appropriate locations in the prescribed manner.</li>\n <li>Aid section housekeepers as needed (i.e. bed boards, roll-ways, etc.).</li>\n <li>Stock linen and supply closets to ensure par inventories.</li>\n <li>Report any missing/found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the Senior Housekeeper or supervisor.</li>\n <li>Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education/Formal Training</strong></p>\n<p>No formal education required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<p>No experience required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge/Skills</strong></p>\n<p>Ability to meet standard appearance.</p>\n<p>Ability to meet cleaning standards.</p>\n<p>Basic understanding of cleaning methods, cleaning implements and chemicals</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lifting cleaning supplies -30 lbs., pushing and pulling equipment -30-50 lbs., carrying supplies -30 lbs. (All done frequently during shift).</li>\n <li>Bending to start machines and load chemicals -done frequently during shift.</li>\n <li>Must be able to be on feet and walk behind floor care equipment for full shift.
