    "description": "<p><span style=\"color: rgb(56, 47, 51); font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Therapist - LCSW preferred</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(237, 81, 130)\">$2,000 Sign-On Bonus </span>- </span>paid in four quarterly installments</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview:</span></span></p>\n<p>The Therapist carries a caseload and provides comprehensive treatment services to children, adolescents, and families in accordance with agency standards and contractual requirements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field</li>\n<li>Active Illinois licensure as an LCPC or LCSW (or ability to obtain and maintain)</li>\n<li>Experience working with children, adolescents, and families</li>\n<li>Experience providing individual, family, and group therapy</li>\n<li>Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills</li>\n<li>Ability to maintain accurate and timely case records in compliance with agency requirements</li>\n<li>Experience or interest in working with victims and perpetrators of sexual and physical abuse</li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate across agencies</li>\n<li>Cultural sensitivity and responsiveness to diverse populations</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> I</span>. <span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Case Management &amp; Direct Services</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete all required documentation, including mental health assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries</li>\n<li>Schedule and facilitate client staffing meetings (e.g., intakes, pre-court, monthly reviews, emergency meetings, interagency coordination, and terminations)</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant case records and reports</li>\n<li>Ensure client confidentiality in accordance with Illinois law and agency policies</li>\n<li>Collaborate with the Treatment Coordinator to develop and implement therapeutic strategies</li>\n<li>Provide individual, group, and family therapy as outlined in treatment plans</li>\n<li>Deliver in-home support services to families as needed</li>\n<li>Connect clients and families to appropriate community resources</li>\n<li>Advocate for clients and families to ensure access to appropriate, respectful, and effective treatment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">II. </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Program Development &amp; Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with leadership on program development, public relations, and community engagement</li>\n<li>Participate in professional presentations, trainings, and interagency collaborations</li>\n<li>Stay current on industry trends and contribute to the field through research, writing, and training opportunities</li>\n<li>Complete program-related reports and maintain statistical data as required</li>\n<li>Perform additional duties as assigned based on program or contract needs</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Competencies:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trauma-Informed Care</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Apply trauma-informed principles in all services, recognizing the impact of trauma and supporting clients and families in building trauma-informed environments</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Person-Centered Approach</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Empower clients by promoting self-advocacy, resilience, and individualized recovery goals</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strengths-Based Practice</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Support clients in identifying and building upon their strengths to meet their needs</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safe &amp; Supportive Environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Provide services that promote physical and emotional safety, with a strong commitment to protecting children and reporting any suspected abuse or neglect</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaboration</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Work with clients to build and strengthen support networks, including family, peers, and community resources</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cultural Responsiveness &amp; Inclusion</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Deliver services that respect and support individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Program Support &amp; Continuous Improvement</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Actively participate in the agency’s Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Youth Service Bureau of Illinois Valley believes that all people deserve inclusivity, fairness, and justice.
