Product Assembler – El Cajon, CA

has an exciting opportunity of Product Assembler available.
For over three decades, FOX has been an industry
leader in the design and development of high performance shock absorbers and
racing suspension products for snowmobiles, mountain bikes, motorcycles, ATVs,
UTVs, off-road cars, trucks, and SUVs.
The Product Assembler assembles by hand or using
hand tools or portable powered tools or operates equipment as necessary to
produce or process products
Specific Responsibilities of the Product Assembler include but
are not limited to:
Products may include but are not limited to
small products, light subassemblies, and/or complete units of a smaller size.
May be assigned to different workstations as
production needs require or shift from one station to another to reduce fatigue
factor.
May be part of a crew and assist skilled
operators in performance of skilled function.
May work at bench as member of assembly group
that processes or assembles one or two specific parts and passes unit to
another worker.
May be known according to product assembled.
May repair units that fail to meet
specifications.
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying
assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering
parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Positions parts and subassemblies by using
templates or reading measurements.
Assembles components by examining connections
for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed
component.
Resolves assembly problems by altering
dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional
resources.
Keeps equipment operational by completing
preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions;
troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by
complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock
to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and
expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Conserves resources by using equipment and
supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Documents actions by completing production and
quality forms.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing
related results as needed.
Qualifications of the Product Assembler:
Level 1 Beginning Level. Employees in this first
(1st) level satisfy the basic job requirements. As the employee gains knowledge
and experience, the work reviews, checks, and supervision may be reduced.
Complexity or variety of work is typical, and there are no additional technical,
mathematical, or scientific requirements beyond the basic requirements.
Level 2 Intermediate Level. Employees in this
second (2nd) level require greater knowledge, training, and/or experience than
level 1. The amount of work review, checks, and supervision are less for an
employee at level 2 than at level 1. Complexity or variety of work is
moderately higher than level 1 and may involve greater technical, mathematical,
or scientific skills than level.
Level 3 Senior Level. Employees in this third (3rd)
level require greater knowledge, training, and/or experience than level 2. The
amount of work review, checks, and supervision are less for an employee at
level 3 than at level 2. Complexity or variety of work is higher than level 2
and may involve greater technical, mathematical, or scientific skills than
level 2. The scope of assignments may vary when compared to level 2
