    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Essential Functions –</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Piano accompaniment\n<ul>\n<li>For choral music ensembles in rehearsal and performance. </li>\n<li>For jazz music ensembles in rehearsal and performance.</li>\n<li>For possible instrumental music ensembles in rehearsal and performance.</li>\n<li>For annual theatre musical rehearsal and performance</li>\n<li>Rehearsals and performances will be days, evenings, and/or weekends.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position.</li>\n<li>Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Secondary – <br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Fine Arts Department Chairperson.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span>:<br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>\n<li>Facility and acceptable proficiency with piano/keyboard.</li>\n<li>Previous experience in music accompaniment preferred.</li>\n<li>Ability to perform accompaniments for advanced choral works with a high level of accuracy, as well as the ability to accurately play all combinations of voice parts in rehearsal.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships.</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate professionally with individuals from diverse ethnic, racial, socioeconomic, gender and disabilities populations.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Physical requirements include ability and manual dexterity to play the piano; excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills; understand words and respond effectively and appropriately; visual acuity to view a computer terminal; use appropriate judgment and apply tact and courtesy in difficult situations; light/indoor work environment.</li>\n<li>Mental requirements include the ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions about the position.</li>\n<li>Physical and mental qualifications must be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The qualifications listed are guidelines for selection purposes; alternative qualifications may be substituted if sufficient to perform the duties.<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">HOURLY WAGE and STATUS</span>:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Piano Accompaniment pay rate is $20.00/hour with actual hours determined by the course and performance schedule.
