Help connect accounting to real business decisions.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">2nd Adventure Services is looking for a <strong>Senior Accountant</strong> who wants more than routine journal entries and reconciliations. This role sits within our Controllership team and supports a portfolio of purpose-driven brands in the firearms and outdoor industry, including Brownells and Crow Wholesale.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">As our <strong>Senior Accountant</strong>, you will help ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of <strong>financial reporting</strong> across both <strong>eCommerce</strong> and <strong>distribution operations</strong>. You will be closely involved in <strong>month-end close, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations</strong>, financial statement support, fixed assets, audit preparation, and <strong>process improvement</strong>. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys owning recurring accounting work while also looking for ways to make processes cleaner, faster, and more reliable.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position is <strong>primarily onsite in Grinnell, Iowa</strong>, with an expectation of four days onsite each week.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">You will be trusted to prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close; maintain fixed asset schedules; assist with financial reporting and operating metrics; participate in audit activities; and partner with teams across the business to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in alignment with <strong>GAAP</strong>.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The right candidate will bring a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of accounting experience. Five or more years of experience is preferred. Strong <strong>GAAP</strong> knowledge, <strong>Excel</strong> proficiency, <strong>ERP</strong> experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage recurring deadlines will be important for success. Experience with Infor, <strong>inventory accounting</strong>, cost accounting, sales tax, public accounting, manufacturing, retail, distribution, or <strong>eCommerce</strong> is helpful, but not required.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Why 2nd Adventure Services?
