The Research & Advanced Engineering Vehicle Integration Supervisor will lead the development, integration, and testing of innovative advanced electrified propulsion systems and technologies for future electrified vehicles. Responsibilities What you'll do... Lead vehicle integration team to develop, build, and test next-generation electrified light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty advanced electrified vehicles. Lead electrified prototype vehicle and propulsion system builds, vehicle commissioning, development testing, troubleshooting, and repair. Lead design of HV and LV electrical architecture, power distribution, and vehicle CAN/LIN network communications, voltage compatibility and load analysis, and device transmittals. Lead testing of new propulsion system technology and vehicles on breadboards, dynamometers, and vehicles Manage vehicle test fleet, breadboard lab, vehicle service garages, APTL site 20 AWD dyno operations, and material & storage logistics Lead team through the collection and analysis of vehicle data to evaluate new propulsion system technology Apply problem solving tools and methods to solve problems related to vehicle build, commissioning, and testing Apply systems engineering tools and methods for new technology development Qualifications You'll have... B.S. or M.S. in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in design and development of electrified propulsion systems, components, or vehicles 1+ years of experience conducting tests of electrified vehicle components or systems in labs, breadboards, dynamometers, HIL/SIL, or on-road. Strong understanding of electrified vehicle architecture, systems, and components Experience successfully leading large cross-functional teams with demonstrated track record of timely, high-quality delivery to program milestones Experience using engineering problem-solving tools and methods to find and address root cause Strong and effective leadership, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to prepare and deliver concise technical project reviews to management Even better, you may have...
