    "description": "<p><strong>About </strong></p>\n<p>We are a group of driven young professionals in the Northwest Denver Area, who want to enhance our community by supporting our Friends with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We meet once a month, every third Thursday evening. Our meetings rotate through a cycle of informational/planning, team building/networking, and volunteering at FRIENDS.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Our Goals</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>To BeFRIEND professionals in the community to spread FRIENDS’ mission and strategic objectives</span></li>\n<li><span>To raise funds to support FRIENDS’ Day, Residential, Supported Employment, Social &amp; Travel, and Behavioral Support programs</span></li>\n<li><span>To cultivate greater community awareness and to build partnerships in the Broomfield area and beyond</span></li>\n<li><span>To provide social, networking, development and volunteer opportunities that promote individual professional growth and organizational support for young aspiring and charitable professionals </span></li>\n<li><span>To increase corporate community and support</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Membership Commitments</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Attend monthly meetings</span></li>\n<li><span>Volunteer at 2+ BeFRIEND sanctioned volunteer opportunities</span></li>\n<li><span>Attend quarterly “At FRIENDS” &amp; “Happy Hour” meetings as able</span></li>\n<li><span>One year of service on the Advisory Board</span></li>\n<li><span>Commit to holding a FRIENDSgiving Campaign</span></li>\n<li><span>Attend FRIENDS fundraising events as able (Topgolf Tournament, FRIENDS Luncheon &amp; Fashion Show, and Variety Show)</span></li>\n</ul>",
