    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>This is a maintenance position. No Per Diem.</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>An Industrial Mechanic will install, assemble, dismantle, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery at an Industrial Power Plant. They will work on small engines, motors, pumps, and other mechanical machinery.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><p>JOB REQUIREMENTS</p><p><strong>Position Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Works with industry-specific and high complex equipment</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Will plan, inspect, verify and document the scope of work</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Will replace gaskets and other defective parts on machinery.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Will dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Assembles and installs equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram rails</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">&nbsp;Assembles machines and bolts, welds, rivets and fastens machinery to foundations or other structures using hand tools and power tools.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Operates engine lathes, grinders, and files.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Fabricates and installs parts, equipment and machinery by measuring, cutting, drilling and/or welding</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Turns machine parts to dimensional specifications</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Will unload, inspect, move and set equipment into position using cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Uses rigging and hoisting devices such as chokers, chain falls and come along to move equipment / materials into place</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Conducts preventative maintenance such as lubrication and fixing or repairing worn parts.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Follows direction from supervisor along with other duties as assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Demonstrated industrial construction/maintenance history experience</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Knowledge of hand tools, and power tools.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Understand load properties of cables, ropes, hoists, and chains.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Organization and time management.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Good problem-solving abilities.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Good aptitude and manual dexterity.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Worked in a chemical facility and understands the hazards.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Knowledge of math concepts, geometry, and layout.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Demonstrated ability to lead others and provide detailed instructions.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Good reading comprehension.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Ability to work with others – team player.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Ability to work independently – minimal supervision.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Commitment to Zachry values and safety rules and regulations.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>MUST PASS A DISA BACKGROUND CHECK, A DRUG TEST, AND HAVE A VAILD DRIVER'S LICENSE.</p><p>Qualifications</p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Zachry ROF’ed employee.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Former Zachry Employee.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Basic Computer efficiency Formal/technical education.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">NCCER in Mechanical.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">At least 5 years’ experience working in an industrial chemical facility.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Will talk and hear to communicate.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull:&nbsp;
