    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">As Finance Director, Global FP&amp;A, you will serve as a trusted business partner, driving financial clarity and insight while strengthening reporting and enabling strategic decisions across Emerson’s $500M systems and services business.</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><div><strong>In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:</strong></div><div><ul><li>Support consolidation of BU financial results across World Areas, ensuring completeness, consistency, and accuracy.</li><li>Own preparation and distribution of monthly MIS reports aligned with BU and Group Level BU reporting requirements.</li><li>Synthesize inputs from World Areas and build a clear, consistent BU performance narrative.</li><li>Structure financial messaging to support reporting to Group Level BU and Emerson leadership.</li><li>Partner with BU World Area Finance leadership to understand drivers of performance and variance versus plan/forecast.</li><li>Perform variance analysis and consolidate key insights across World Areas.</li><li>Highlight risks, opportunities, and key performance trends in a clear and structured manner.</li><li>Support Budget, Forecast, and POR processes across BU.</li><li>Coordinate inputs from World Areas, ensuring alignment on assumptions and timelines.</li><li>Support preparation of materials for financial reviews, President’s Council, and executive discussions.</li><li>Own HFM data integrity and reporting for BU, ensuring accuracy of actuals and quarterly POR submissions.</li><li>Ensure alignment between HFM data and management reporting outputs.</li><li>Work with World Area teams to resolve data gaps, validation issues, and inconsistencies.</li><li>Support alignment on financial messaging, assumptions, and key performance drivers.</li><li>Support standardization and simplification of BU reporting processes.</li><li>Improve clarity and usability of financial outputs and dashboards.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><strong>Who You Are:</strong></div><div>You gather inputs from multiple sources, simplify financial data, and present clear insights. You provide structured financial input and apply sound judgment to support decision-making. You take ownership of reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You work effectively across World Area teams to align performance insights and messaging. You present financial performance in a clear, concise, and structured manner.<br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>For This Role, You Will Need:</strong></div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance</li><li>5–8 years of experience in FP&amp;A, financial reporting, or business finance</li><li>Strong experience in financial consolidation, variance analysis, and management reporting</li><li>Hands-on experience with HFM or financial consolidation systems</li><li>Experience working across World Areas or within a matrix organization</li><li>Strong analytical skills with ability to connect data to business drivers</li><li>Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills<br>&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><strong>Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:</strong></div><div><ul><li>CPA or MBA preferred</li><li>Experience in project-based or engineered business environment</li><li>Exposure to financial systems and reporting tools<br>&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><strong>Our Culture &amp; Commitment to You:</strong></div><p>At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
