The Commercial Roofing Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing field operations and all aspects of roofing construction on multiple projects, ensuring they’re completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills and a strong background with multiple roofing systems on remedial and new construction projects.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">5+ Years in Commercial Roofing Service </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">7 or more years of experience working with roofing materials and systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Superior knowledge of composition roofing and/or low slope installations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">High level of roofing construction experience in multiple roofing systems on remedial and new construction projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Strong knowledge of all commercial and residential roof systems and accessories</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Proficient in technology including MS Office and basic computer software</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">High school diploma or equivalent<br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Coordinate with Project Managers in all aspects of projects including planning, execution, scheduling, budgeting, projections, resource allocation, pre/mid/final construction meetings, detail reviews, punch lists, and final warranty walks.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations, manufacturer standards, and project specifications. Conduct regular inspections to verify quality standards and best practices are met. Immediately address issues and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain project quality, safety, and momentum</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Effectively allocate resources, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to meet project requirements, budgets, and deadlines. Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and proactively identify and address any delays or issues.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Provide clear leadership and direction to roofing crews and subcontractors. Ensure they understand project requirements, details, and safety procedures. Monitor performance and provide feedback as needed to maintain productivity and quality standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Maintain effective and open communication with project team members including clients, project managers, superintendents, architects, engineers, tech reps, consultants, and foreman to resolve field issues.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Ensure Foreman are documenting progress, JHAs, toolbox talks, fall protection plans, time-entry and change orders. Maintain pics, files, and documents in FCS and Google Drive. Update task in Asana.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Proactively identify potential jobsite risks and develop mitigation plans and strategies to minimize disruptions or delays.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Proactively strategize ways to increase productivity, maintain job quality, schedule, and budget</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to roofing crews and subcontractors to enhance their skills and knowledge.
