It is through their efforts and talents that Titan has been successful for over 100 years.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>S&W Ready Mix is currently seeking a <strong>Loader Operator</strong> for the <strong>Conway, SC</strong> location.  The function of this position is to operate the front end loader. The loader Operator will load material from stockpiles and may oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment. He or she will assist with plant/yard housekeeping including shoveling, washing and minor repairs. The loader operator may at times participate in all aspects of the daily operation of the plant, including but not limited to: operations, maintenance, production, shipping, inventory control, safety The Loader Operator loads material from stockpiles and may oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.  Assist with plant and facility housekeeping including shoveling, washing and minor repairs.  Responsible for the safe, efficient production of ready-mix concrete.  The job duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Load material from stockpiles and may oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment</li>\n <li>Maintain plant in excellent condition, mechanically and esthetically to include loaders and mixers</li>\n <li>Ensure that the yard is maintained including under the tail pulleys and wash racks, perform housekeeping duties when needed including shoveling, washing and minor repairs </li>\n <li>Responsible for the safe, efficient production of ready-mix concrete using an automated computerized batching system</li>\n <li>Maintain a consistent batching sequence and monitor scale and gate accuracy</li>\n <li>Ensure that all products produced meet or exceed customers’ expectations regarding quality and service</li>\n <li>Ensure deliveries are made promptly, safely and efficiently</li>\n <li>Assist with monthly inventory</li>\n <li>Assist maintenance team with plant repairs as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Working Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times</li>\n <li>Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required</li>\n <li>Working outdoors with exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold and other outdoor environmental conditions, constant standing and walking, climbing, working from heights and lifting up to 75 lbs.</li>\n <li>Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime</li>\n <li>Job requires the following motions:  climbing, stretching, driving/steering, sitting, twisting, vibration, riding on rough terrain. </li>\n <li>Ability to pass pre-employment processes including criminal background check, physical and drug screen</li>\n <li>Travel between sites as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Good written and oral communication skills</li>\n <li>Good computer skills</li>\n <li>Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision</li>\n <li>Ability to supervise multiple employees, previous supervisory experience preferred</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of concrete characteristics and production</li>\n <li>Ability to travel within delivery area to other plant locations</li>\n <li>Previous experience in ready-mix industry preferred</li>\n <li>Valid CDL preferred</li>\n <li>Previous experience and knowledge of safe operation of heavy equipment</li>\n <li>Knowledge of proper material handling practices</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>Titan America LLC offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life, matching 401K, paid vacation and holidays).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Titan America is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) / Affirmative Action employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
