This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both field production and studio environments, understands internet culture and storytelling, and can independently take projects from concept through final edit.</p><p>The ideal candidate is an exceptional visual storyteller with strong shooting instincts, advanced editing skills, and experience creating content optimized for audience engagement and platform performance.</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Shoot, produce, and edit short- and long-form social-first video content</li><li>Capture high-quality video using iPhone, DJI Osmo/gimbal systems, and DSLR/mirrorless cameras</li><li>Direct and shoot content in a variety of environments including:</li></ul><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; o Man-on-the-street interviews</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; o Red carpet and live event coverage</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; o Talent-driven social content</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; o Studio interviews and hosted productions</p><ul><li>Collaborate with producers, talent, and social teams to develop engaging concepts and visual approaches</li><li>Edit content optimized for platform-specific performance across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and YouTube</li><li>Create motion graphics, text treatments, and social-native visual elements</li><li>Maintain strong pacing, storytelling, and editorial judgment aligned with current social trends</li><li>Manage media workflows, file organization, exports, and delivery deadlines</li><li>Adapt quickly in fast-paced production environments and react to breaking or real-time opportunities</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience producing and editing digital/social video content</li><li>Demonstrated experience shooting with:</li></ul><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o iPhone/mobile-first production setups</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o DJI Osmo or similar stabilization/gimbal systems</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o DSLR or mirrorless camera systems</p><ul><li>Strong field production experience, including red carpets, live events, and street-style interviews</li><li>Experience directing and lighting in studio environments</li><li>Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including:</li></ul><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o Premiere Pro</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o After Effects</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o Photoshop</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o Lightroom</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o Audition</p><ul><li>Deep understanding of social media storytelling, pacing, hooks, and audience retention</li><li>Strong sense of framing, composition, audio, and lighting</li><li>Ability to work independently while balancing multiple projects and deadlines</li><li>Knowledge of current digital trends, creators, and platform best practices</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Experience working in entertainment, news, sports, lifestyle, or pop culture media</li><li>Motion graphics and animation experience</li><li>Experience producing talent-led or personality-driven content</li><li>Familiarity with live production workflows and social publishing tools</li><li>Photography experience is a plus</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>What Success Looks Like:</u></strong></p><ul><li>You consistently create content that feels native to social platforms while maintaining high production value</li><li>You can move seamlessly between breaking-news style field production and polished studio shoots</li><li>You understand how to capture moments that audiences stop scrolling for</li><li>You bring both technical execution and creative instincts to every assignment</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The base salary compensation range for this role is $90,000 to $104,000. <span data-teams=\"true\">In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a performance-based bonus. </span>Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
