This job involves performing various maintenance tasks, clearing snow and gomi on a regular basis, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring the proper functioning and safety of our properties. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Between these tasks you will run staff shuttles and transfer clients to and from our properties and other destinations as well as helping out in the rental shop when and as required.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Contract Period</span></span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">: November 2026 - March 2027</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Key Responsibilities and Duties</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Conduct the regular removal of snow from around Operations Office, Full Note Pension and all staff accommodations to safely and effectively clear snow and manage risk associated with snow/ice</span></li>\n<li><span>Run regular shuttles from staff accommodations to/from the Operations Office, Full Note and any other locations as determined by the Area Manager</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Conduct regular inspections of our properties to identify snow clearing or maintenance needs and address any issues promptly</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Respond to maintenance requests from occupants and prioritise and schedule repairs accordingly with direction from the Area Manager</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Troubleshoot and repair any equipment as required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs, snow clearing or maintenance tasks that are beyond your scope of expertise.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Work as a team and assist other departments as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">For the right candidate  - perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to painting, basic carpentry, plumbing and repairs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Pick up Whiteroom clients from the Welcome Centre and drop them at tour accommodations. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Communicated the Guest Services team and guest requests or issues in a timely manner.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Assist guests with any rental/retail goods that they require and provide resort information to the guests<br></span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">What You'll Need to Succeed</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Mainly a contagious love of snow and the shovelling and riding of it! Plus these key things:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to work independently, think on your feet and problem solve</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Customer service skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Punctuality and time management</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour work outside in the snow and lift heavy objects when required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Proficiency in using snow clearing equipment, tools and other equipment is a plus but not required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Experience in general maintenance technician or in a similar role is a plus but not required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Valid driver's licence with clean record </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><br>Employment Benefits</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">You are what makes Whiteroom Whiteroom.
