The role is to ensure the production plan is met, adhering to the principles of all VPO pillars, maintain a high level of control against the budgeted KPI&#39;s as well as the Variable and Fixed costs controllable within the team</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Key Roles and Responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p><span>Drive all Safety and Environmental requirements as per VPO standard on the shop-floor</span></p></li><li><p><span>Conduct SIO/RNC Analysis</span></p></li><li><p><span>Communicate Brewing process and product quality information / standards</span></p></li><li><p><span>Effectively communicate changes in the Brewing process or standards </span></p></li><li><p><span>Provide leadership to ensure commitment to product quality in the Brewing department</span></p></li><li><p><span>Apply Brewing sub department quality systems in the workplace</span></p></li><li><p><span>Apply problem solving and </span><span>decision making</span><span> techniques and principles </span></p></li><li><p><span>Interacts with Brewing Management and operations teams to ensure appropriate people are involved in problem solving sessions. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Verifies that corrective action has been implemented and that the problem has been resolved (loop closure).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure conformance to Brewing area production plans</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure conformance to Brewing area specifications and standards </span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure effective cost management on fixed and variable costs including byproduct</span></p></li><li><p><span>Optimise process availability to achieve delivery and reliability targets </span></p></li><li><p><span>Support production and process optimisation including trials, VA and CAPEX projects </span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure adherence to quality standards by area teams</span></p></li><li><p><span>Operate as a constructive team member of a multi-disciplinary team</span></p></li><li><p><span>Encourage team members to participate in all work planning operational communications, innovation, problem solving and evaluations</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Minimum Requirements:</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p><span>BSc Degree in Biological Sciences, Microbiology, Bio-chemistry, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering</span></p></li><li><p><span>Computer literacy (Microsoft, Excel, Visio and Project)</span></p></li><li><p><span>At least 3 years experience in a Food FMCG</span></p></li><li><p><span>IBD Papers 1,2&amp;3 completed and passed is an added advantage</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Additional Information: </b></p><ul><li><p><b>Band: VII</b></p></li></ul><p></p><p>ABINBEV is an equal opportunity employer, and all appointments will be made in line with ABINBEV employment equity plan and talent <br />requirement.</p>",
