We're looking for the best and brightest to take our company to the next level.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Due to growth, it has created a need for a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician. The hours for this position are 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday. There will be occasional Saturdays, but it is rare. This position comes with a competitive hourly pay, full comprehensive benefits program, 401K retirement program, paid time off and holiday pay. The duties, responsibilities and qualifications for the position are listed below.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and rules.</li>\n<li>Promote a safety awareness and commitment at all times.</li>\n<li>Maintain confidentiality of information received, created, or processed.</li>\n<li>Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and related services.</li>\n<li>Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.</li>\n<li>Make repairs or adjustments to keep production equipment operating.</li>\n<li>Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments to involve dismantling, inspection, machining or replacement of purchased parts.</li>\n<li>Perform various activities relative to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment to involve dismantling, erection, leveling, fitting and aligning operations.</li>\n<li>Ensure maintenance on DreamPak’s buildings, facilities, and grounds are performed.</li>\n<li>Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.</li>\n<li>Contact OEM and replacement parts distributors, to obtain needed parts.</li>\n<li>Contact sources with applicable knowledge, to assess and recommend machinery-related issues.</li>\n<li>Maintain required maintenance logs and files.</li>\n<li>Perform routine housekeeping activities in the Maintenance Department and ensure adherence to established safety procedures and cleanliness standards.</li>\n<li>Identify and assist in leading the implementation of Continuous Improvement.</li>\n<li>Serve on Company’s Safety Committee.</li>\n<li>Acts as the back up to the other Maintenance Technicians and the Maintenance &amp; Engineering Manager during absences to ensure the integrity of the SQF system.</li>\n<li>Responsible for adhering food safety, cGMPs, employee safety, quality standards, sanitary practices and customer specifications.</li>\n<li>Report any food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE &amp; QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience and three to five years related maintenance experience</li>\n<li>Possess a working knowledge of pneumatics, machinery electrical wiring, PLC’s, refrigeration and/or process steam systems</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and manufacturing software</li>\n<li>Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints</li>\n<li>Initiative and willingness to learn and gain additional knowledge</li>\n<li>Ability to problem solve and determine effective solutions to a variety of situations where limited standardization exists</li>\n<li>Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form</li>\n</ul>",
