This position manages the end-to-end capture process, from early-stage opportunity identification and market shaping to proposal submission and program hand-off. The Director serves as a primary bridge between customer requirements and North Wind&rsquo;s technical capabilities, ensuring our solutions are competitively positioned to win.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position is eligible for remote work, subject to program requirements, customer approval, and business needs.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead the North Wind Flight Systems capture strategy and execution for priority pursuits.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work across North Wind to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate directly with major government agencies, OEMs, and commercial enterprises to showcase North Wind&rsquo;s value, capabilities, and industry expertise.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate with Flight Systems management to develop offerings and customer accounts.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead the development of strategic project proposals and coordinate collaboration of team discussions and agreements with external partners and stakeholders.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Execute an established business development plan that defines clear direction, milestones, and actions to drive sustainable, profitable growth in alignment with the company&rsquo;s strategic objectives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide timely and accurate input for revenue and profit forecasts.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Professionally represent the company at various business conferences, trade shows and community events.</li></ul><p><br></p></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Core Objectives:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Revenue Growth:</strong> Drive year-over-year growth for the Flight Systems business unit.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Win Rate Optimization:</strong> Increase proposal effectiveness through rigorous solution development and competitive intelligence.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Pipeline Quality:</strong> Maintain a robust and qualified pipeline of opportunities aligned with the company&rsquo;s long-term technical roadmap.</li></ul><p><br></p></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Education / Experience:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s / Master&rsquo;s Degree in related discipline</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">12+ years of experience in related discipline</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Previous experience in management position; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to above</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Relevant experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Background in high-speed and hypersonic systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Security Clearance: Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a collateral secret security clearance.</li></ul><p><br></p></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Knowledge / Ability:&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be a self-starter, able to work on multiple projects, and prioritize workload</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to manage confidential information and conduct business with the highest level of professionalism and integrity</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Previous exposure to engineering, machining and fabrication processes, interaction with shop personnel, and familiarity with manufacturing techniques</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">RDT&amp;E program experience with US Defense Acquisition activities</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong written and verbal communication</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong interpersonal skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to travel at least 25% of the time</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p></div></div>\n",
