    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Summary:&nbsp;</strong>Extruder Technician&nbsp;will be responsible for the process design, operation, and implementation for Plastics Manufacturing. Able to improve industrial processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Responsible for timely startups and shutdowns to maximize productivity and reduce unnecessary downtime.</li><li>Provide extrusions in a timely manner as directed by the department supervisor to ensure production schedules are met.</li><li>Change dies on extruding machines according to production line change</li><li>Manage raw extrusion materials in a way that ensures traceability and prevents contamination.</li><li>Ensure line speed and part quality remain consistent and that output is delivered safely, productively, and on time.</li><li>Participate/lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis.</li><li>Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to extrusion line.</li><li>Must be able to work well with others to train operators to perform their duties.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance on all extrusion equipment.</li><li>Responsible for performing all aspects of the job in a safe manner and observing all safety regulations.</li><li>Conduct periodic safety checks and involves the team in identifying and resolving unsafe conditions.</li><li>Responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping of the production machinery and surrounding area in accordance with 5S standards.</li><li>Ability to communicate information to the operators.</li><li>Available to work overtime and weekends as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Job Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>AAS degree or related job experience , in a technical discipline; mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred.</li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States</li><li>Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.</li><li>Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications.</li><li>Strong multi-tasking skills.
