Provides assistance to therapist and interacts with consumers in a short term crisis intervention program. Duties include a variety of supportive services and direct interventions with children experiencing behavioral health crisis. Some youth and family skill based groups. Transportation of consumers and families possible. Responsible for maintaining a secure environment. Data collection. Services will be provided in the office, on the CSU unit, community and consumer’s home. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.</span></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Palatino Linotype&quot;, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong> Minimum High School diploma or G.E.D.is required.&nbsp; A minimum of six months’ experience with emotionally impaired children and families is required.&nbsp; Expectation of a varied schedule to include afternoon, evening, and weekend hours. Person must be able to work cooperatively with others and possess good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to re-certify in CPR/First Aide each year following employment.
