Invar is now part of Storage Solutions, and this role sits within Storage Solutions while remaining deeply focused on Invar’s products, technology, and customer projects.</p><p><br></p><p>The Warehouse System is deployed in environments ranging from simple RF/manual workflows to highly automated facilities utilizing conveyors, cranes, palletizers, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), robotic arms, and other advanced material handling systems.</p><p><br></p><p>You will receive mentorship and training to learn the system architecture and apply it to real customer projects. This includes developing features in C#/.NET, configuring workflows, integrating with equipment and host systems, and helping test solutions prior to deployment.</p><p><br></p><p>Software Engineers work closely with Lead Engineers throughout the full project lifecycle, including requirements clarification, development, and testing, as well as participation in site installation, user training, and post-go-live support. Over time, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of project workstreams as your knowledge and skills grow.</p><p><br></p><p><em>No background in warehouse automation is required; full training is provided. Curiosity, problem-solving, and a willingness to learn are key to success.</em></p><p><br></p><p><strong>OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><br><em>Software Development &amp; Configuration</em></p><ul><li>Support the development and configuration of our Warehouse System using C#/.NET technologies</li><li>Assist with building and customizing workflows, features, and integrations based on customer requirements</li><li>Contribute to testing and validation of software solutions prior to deployment</li></ul><p><em>Project &amp; Customer Support</em></p><ul><li>Work closely with senior developers throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements clarification, development, and testing</li><li>Participate in site installations, user training, and post-go-live support as needed</li><li>Engage with customers during project implementation to ensure solutions meet operational goals</li></ul><p><em>Learning &amp; Growth</em></p><ul><li>Learn internal system architecture, development standards, and best practices through hands-on project work</li><li>Gradually take ownership of defined project workstreams as skills and experience develop</li><li>Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and accountability in day-to-day responsibilities</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT &amp; TOOLS:</strong></p><ul><li>Development of .NET applications using .NET Framework 4.7 and .NET 8</li><li>C# development using Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Expression Blend</li><li>SQL database development using Microsoft SQL Server (Standard and Enterprise)</li><li>Design and development of user interfaces for client-facing applications</li><li>Use of Azure DevOps for sprint planning, source control, collaboration, and build/deployment pipelines</li><li>Work within an Agile team of experienced software developers</li></ul><p><strong>KNOWLEGDE &amp; SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience</li><li>Exposure to object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or C++ (C# experience not required; training provided)</li><li>Strong interest in software development and technical problem-solving</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to learn new technologies and apply feedback quickly</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment</li><li>Self-motivated with a positive, growth-oriented mindset</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>WORK CONDITIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Up to 25% travel annually, including potential international travel</li><li>Participation in a rotating 24/7 support schedule after completing at least one full project lifecycle and required on-call training</li><li>Hybrid, in-office, or remote work arrangements depending on project needs and training requirements</li></ul><p><strong>Why work for Storage Solutions - A Jungheinrich Company?</strong></p><p><em>Our greatest asset is our people.
