Description
Position Summary:
The Director of the Corporate Work Study Program leads daily operations and serves as the primary liaison with corporate partners. This role ensures program success, supports students’ professional and personal development, and advances the school’s Catholic mission. Additional responsibilities may include but not limited to special projects as assigned by the President.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and grow Cristo Rey Kansas City’s signature Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP), ensuring exceptional outcomes for students and corporate partners.
Build and sustain strong partnerships with local and regional employers, securing meaningful job placements and driving annual renewals.
Identify and develop new corporate relationships to expand student job opportunities and strengthen the program’s impact.
Oversee student job placement, training, and performance to ensure professionalism and success in the workplace.
Supervise and develop the CWSP team, fostering a high-performing, relationship-driven culture.
Deliver a best-in-class partner experience by prioritizing responsiveness, communication, and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with school leadership to set strategy, drive growth, and evaluate program success.
Manage the CWSP budget to ensure financial sustainability and operational excellence.
Support student recruitment efforts by promoting the value of the Cristo Rey model.
Represent Cristo Rey Kansas City within the national network and broader community.
Serve as a member of the senior leadership team, partnering closely with the President and other leaders to advance the school’s mission.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, corporate partners, and school leadership.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple partnerships, schedules, and program logistics simultaneously.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and tact in fast-paced and high-stress environments.
Demonstrated commitment to serving and empowering under-served students through career readiness and academic success initiatives.
Proven experience developing and sustaining relationships with corporate partners, including account management and program growth.
Ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a team while fostering a collaborative, mission-driven work environment.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate program outcomes, improve processes, and align work-study opportunities with student development goals.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of corporate experience, preferably in sales and marketing.
Proven success in corporate or nonprofit sales, management, and customer relationship management.
