This is a hands-on individual contributor role that serves as the primary technical resource for shop drawings, panel layouts, and production documentation, ensuring that all drawing outputs are </span><span>accurate</span><span>, production-ready, and delivered on schedule.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Key Responsibilities</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Technical Drafting &amp; D</span><span>ocument</span><span>ation</span><span>:</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Prepare and review shop drawings, panel layouts, </span><span>embed</span><span> details, connection hardware, and lifting point documentation using CAD and Revit.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ensure all drawing packages are </span><span>accurate</span><span>, complete, and aligned with project specifications and applicable codes.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Maintain organized drawing records and version control across all active projects.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Develop and </span><span>maintain</span><span> drawing standards and templates for York Precast.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Production </span><span>Coordination</span><span>:</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Work closely with the </span><span>Plant </span><span>Manager and production teams to ensure drawings are clear, executable, and available ahead of casting schedules.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Participate in production planning discussions to flag drawing readiness and resolve conflicts early.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Provide real-time technical support to the </span><span>plant</span><span> floor when drawing clarifications are needed.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Design Coordination &amp; Continuous Improvement</span><span>:</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Maintain drafting software and support integration with supplier or client platforms as </span><span>required</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Identify</span><span> opportunities to improve drawing accuracy, turnaround times, and documentation consistency.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Stay current with precast industry standards, software updates, and best practices.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Qualifications</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Diploma or degree in Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or </span><span>a related</span><span> technical field.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>3+ years of experience in precast drafting, structural drafting, or a related technical role.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Proficiency</span><span> in CAD and Revit for structural and precast applications.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Working knowledge of precast production systems, panel design, connection details, and shop drawing requirements.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Familiarity with applicable codes and standards is an asset.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Strong attention to detail and commitment to drawing accuracy.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ability to read and interpret structural engineering drawings and specifications.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Good communication</span><span> skills with the ability to work collaboratively across production, </span><span>project</span><span>, and engineering teams.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ability to manage multiple drawing packages and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Valid driver's license and ability to travel as </span><span>required</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>",
