Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinician in the Behavioral Health Juvenile Justice program to provide counseling and support services to juveniles and their families. This role is integral in delivering evidence-based interventions, facilitating recovery, and collaborating with court officials and community partners to ensure the best outcomes for at-risk youth.
This position will work in detention centers, courts, probation centers, and schools to meet with high-risk youth and will be based out of the Belleville, IL office.
This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus!
The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $44,400 - $50,575 annual salary.

Responsibilities
Complete required data entry and documentation in accordance with program and agency policies.
Provide juvenile and family-driven services that align with treatment, recovery, and safety plans, including individual, family, and group counseling.
Utilize evidence-based counseling techniques and behavioral modification strategies to support positive behavioral changes in youth and families.
Develop and provide educational resources to juveniles and families, offering guidance on behavioral health challenges and coping strategies.
Promote the recovery model of treatment, incorporating trauma-informed care to foster self-directed recovery.
Provide factual, strengths-based court testimony that highlights the needs and progress of juveniles and families.
Foster positive relationships within Chestnut and the community, particularly with court officials and juvenile justice entities.
Attend and facilitate meetings, juvenile staffings, and program development activities, ensuring compliance with supervision and training requirements.
Assume leadership roles regularly with minimal oversight, demonstrating initiative and professional expertise.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
Strong background in juvenile behavioral health services preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, email, videoconferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and be insurable.
