    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Defense contractor performing product development and manufacturing of various systems for military aerospace and vehicles in the Los Angeles International Airport area is searching for an experienced Design Engineer. &nbsp;With a 50+ year history, The Marvin Group supports all branches of the Department of Defense and allies around the globe on an array of programs and platforms. &nbsp;We support many military prime contractors including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon.</span></p><p><br></p><h2><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">SCOPE</span></h2><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">This position requires a strong background in Analysis with a background in Mechanical Engineering/Design of systems employing pneumatic, mechanical and electro-mechanical components/assemblies. &nbsp;The ideal candidate will have experience in analysis of prototype mechanisms which may include linkages, levers, pneumatic devices, solenoid and motor operators. The candidate should have a broad background emphasizing work with mechanical devices and subsystems, preferably for use in military or commercial aviation. &nbsp;Knowledge of airborne weapon systems and/or weapon carriage equipment is strongly desirable.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Strong working knowledge in structural analysis by use of Finite Element Method and classical hand calculations must be demonstrated by the candidate. &nbsp;Design experience with CATIA and analysis experience with ANSYS is highly desirable.
