    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><b>Production Supervisor - 1st Shift</b> <b>About the Role</b></p>\n<p>We’re looking for a hands-on <b>Production Supervisor</b> to lead shift operations and drive performance on the production floor. In this role, you’ll oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and support a team of operators to achieve production goals. You’ll serve as a key frontline leader, helping keep operations running efficiently while addressing real-time challenges.</p>\n<p><b>What You’ll Do</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and manage a team of production operators during assigned shifts</li>\n <li>Oversee daily production line operations to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals</li>\n <li>Train, coach, and motivate employees to ensure strong performance and adherence to standards</li>\n <li>Manage scheduling, attendance, and timecard approvals</li>\n <li>Partner with HR and plant leadership on hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations</li>\n <li>Conduct initial investigations for safety incidents (RCCA) and implement corrective actions</li>\n <li>Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards</li>\n <li>Coordinate manpower and production planning to meet customer demand and shipment timelines</li>\n <li>Track and report production metrics (output, hours worked, key issues)</li>\n <li>Communicate production updates, challenges, and solutions during daily meetings</li>\n <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with plant and corporate teams to support operations</li>\n <li>Lead or participate in special projects as assigned</li>\n <li>Provide after-hours support as needed based on business demands</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>What We’re Looking For</b></p>\n<p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED</li>\n <li>2 years of experience in a supervisor role preferably in a manufacturing setting</li>\n <li>Ability to work shift schedules onsite</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field</li>\n <li>Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment</li>\n <li>Experience with PowerPoint is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work is performed in both office and manufacturing settings</li>\n <li>Ability to: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Stand for extended periods (8–12 hours)</li>\n   <li>Lift up to 120 lbs</li>\n   <li>Climb stairs regularly and ladders as needed</li>\n   <li>Maintain visual acuity (including color perception) and good hearing</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><i>All candidates must pass a pre-employment physical.</i></p>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px; font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n <div style=\"border-width:0px; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n  <div style=\"border-width:0px; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n   <div style=\"border-width:0px; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n    <div style=\"border-width:0px; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n     <div style=\"border-width:0px; margin:20px 0px; padding:0px\">\n      <div style=\"border-width:0px; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n       <p><b>Take a look at why so many of our team members continue their careers with Mapei-Polyglass! </b><a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/safety/go/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eyoutube%2Ecom%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D7qG07JonFnw&amp;urlhash=EExo&amp;isSdui=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><b><u>Life at Polyglass</u></b></a><b><u>!</u></b></p>\n      </div>\n     </div>\n    </div>\n   </div>\n  </div>\n </div>\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px; font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n <div style=\"border-width:0px; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n  <div style=\"border-width:0px; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n   &nbsp;\n  </div>\n </div>\n</div>",
