Our company was started in 2019 and the brands we represent are global leaders.  It’s the perfect time to join this growing organization as we establish our presence in Texas!</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>JOB DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE:</span></p>\n<p><span><em>The Service Technician will be responsible for performing planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, and troubleshooting on various models of Linde, Baoli and competitive brands of forklifts and material handling equipment. A background or experience in maintaining Lift Trucks / Forklifts is REQUIRED.</em></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but are not limited to:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Read and understand electrical and hydraulic system schematics</span></li>\n<li><span>Repair or replace major system components, including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, LPG systems, power steering, transmissions, and engines with limited supervision</span></li>\n<li><span>Properly identify and order all necessary replacement parts</span></li>\n<li><span>Troubleshoot and diagnose most truck components</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform engine tune-ups on most makes of equipment without supervision</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform proper PM’s in a timely manner</span></li>\n<li><span>Troubleshoot and diagnose most complex electrical systems on internal combustion (IC) and electric trucks</span></li>\n<li><span>Be able to use all special tools properly, and maintain and properly use the normal tools of the trade</span></li>\n<li><span>Operate service van in a clean, safe and secure manner following all required safety rules for the job</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with training/mentoring apprentice mechanics through on-the-job training</span></li>\n<li><span>Follow all safety procedures in performing work as well as company policies, and at customer’s sites</span></li>\n<li><span>Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, properly and respectfully representing the company at all times while on the job</span></li>\n<li><span>Work across the entire HTX Material Handling footprint to do the right thing for all customers</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform other duties as required or assigned by management</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical systems</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficient in repairing and maintaining industrial equipment</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience with electrical and hydraulic system schematic</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<p><span>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>High school diploma / G.E.D / Other Technical training.</span></li>\n<li><span>Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in repair and maintenance on industrial equipment and/or machines</span></li>\n<li><span>Valid Driver’s License (possess and maintain during employment), good driving record</span></li>\n<li><span>Demonstrated ability to repair equipment per skill level</span></li>\n<li><span>Basic Computer knowledge including use of Personal Computers, Tablets, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)</span></li>\n<li><span>Must be fluent in English.
