Insulators primarily install various types of insulation on structure, piping, tanks, and ventilation. Insulators may be assigned to any of the I02 trade tasks.</p>\n<h2>Required/Preferred Education/Training</h2>\n<p>Preferred – High School Diploma or GED.Preferred – Technical school training in general carpentry</p>\n<h2>Required/Preferred Experience</h2>\n<p>Required – More than 1 year experience installing insulation or general carpentry.Required – Must be able to read a tape measure, do basic layout, and perform simple math calculations. Required – Must meet the requirements of the I02 physical task analysis.</p>",
