If you're ready to design solutions that shape how people experience the natural and built environment, this position offers the perfect blend of challenge, purpose, and opportunity.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Learn more about VHB's Land Development team here: Land Development | VHB</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work within a team of professionals to develop site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of land development projects.</li>\n <li>Train and mentor junior staff on technical aspects and policies</li>\n <li>Assist Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers with managing and delegating tasks, forecasting and proactively addressing workload and staffing needs, while collaborating with clients and teammates across the organization</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Attributes </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Willingness to learn implementation of integrated services projects in a team with multidisciplinary skills.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of land development construction including codes and development regulations</li>\n <li>Innovative design skills to develop solutions to complex projects.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS in Civil Engineering or related degree</li>\n <li>3-5+ years of increasing engineering experience</li>\n <li>EIT licensure preferred or have passed the FE Exam</li>\n <li>Proficient in the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D,HydroCAD, MS Office</li>\n <li>Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design and stormwater management</li>\n <li>Experience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports</li>\n <li>Experience with GIS Systems is a plus – GIS is one of the tools we use to create better projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Applicants must be legally authorized to work for VHB in the U.S. without employer sponsorship either now or in the future.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our best estimate of the salary range for this position located in Vermont is $80,000-$98,000. This offer is determined based on a number of job-related factors including internal comparators, skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities and geographic location.
