For the 8th consecutive year, we have been named one of the top 20 Physician Groups in Southern California by Integrated Healthcare Associates (IHA).</p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrates clinical competency and technical skills as a CRT.</li>\n <li>Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures, positioning patients on the examining table and adjusting equipment to acquire optimum views of specific body area as ordered by clinician.</li>\n <li>Performs procedures based on established technique chart using independent judgment to support the radiological orders.</li>\n <li>Follows standardized imaging practices and protocols.</li>\n <li>Exhibits solid understanding and relationships with other departments as it relates to radiological services.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of patient care flow and insurance concepts.</li>\n <li>Uses appropriate technique charts and assures markers are set appropriately.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates ability to work in multiple x-ray sites performing needed studies.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates ability to retrieve studies from PACS for review and assists with quality assurance.</li>\n <li>Maintains needed logs for QC based on manufacturer recommendation.</li>\n <li>Provides patient education as pertains to requested studies.</li>\n <li>Reviews dosimeter reports monthly.</li>\n <li>Performs appropriate infection controls processes.</li>\n <li>Acts as a role model in providing care; assists in precepting CRTs, and Limited XT staff and guides accordingly.</li>\n <li>Supports team approach and service focus work with colleagues in a “team approach” to encourage a positive and service-oriented image for the department.</li>\n</ul>",
