This position is responsible for managing all company owned equipment entering and leaving the yard and ensuring that all appropriate paperwork is completed correctly. This position provides information about equipment in the yard to rental, service and sales managers.&nbsp;</p><p>The ideal <strong>Yard Utility Coordinator&nbsp;</strong>will work closely with the Five Star Equipment Team as well as carriers and vendors, to provide exemplary customer service in our <u>Rochester, NY</u> location.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Five Star Equipment</strong> provides a complete uniform program with laundering/repair service; annual shoe and; and a highly competitive compensation and benefits package including generous paid time off and 401(k) company match.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Responsibility</u></strong></p><ul><li>The Yard Utility Employee is responsible for cleaning/detailing construction equipment and keeping the yard and shop areas clean and organized.&nbsp;</li><li>Safely moves all machines/equipment around the yard as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Presentation /Parking of equipment on the yard.</li><li>Inspects machines/equipment returned by customers and assists Technicians and Drivers as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Pressure wash and clean construction equipment and operate forklift as needed.</li><li>Maintains the Grounds.</li><li>Monitor whole good inventory.</li><li>Assess and ensure readiness of machines to perform.</li><li>Take pictures of machinery as needed.</li><li>Complete necessary paperwork to assess the condition of incoming and outgoing rental and other company owned machinery.</li><li>Occasionally handle phone calls.</li><li>Perform general building and yard maintenance as directed.</li><li>Load and unload all trucks with equipment pertaining to the yard.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge</u></strong></p><ul><li>2-3 years&rsquo; experience preferred &ndash; operating large construction equipment, a forklift and high-pressure washers.</li><li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>Must be able to work outside for a long period of time.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be self-motivated and manage one&rsquo;s own time, resources and performs to the best of their ability under all work conditions.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours as well as work in various demanding environmental conditions.</li><li>Excellent customer relationship skills. &nbsp;High School Diploma or GED equivalent.&nbsp;</li></ul></div>\n",
